Senior Civil Engineering Municipal Project Manager

Civil Engineering Designer II

Point Design Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Designer II with experience in Civil3D.  Must have experience with site grading, parking lot layouts, storm/sanitary sewer plan and profiles, and erosion & sedimentation control designs.  Specific responsibilities may include the following: 

  • Interpret civil engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work under an engineer to develop the design and construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of Infraworks modeling is a plus.

Civil Engineering EIT

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering EIT with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in land development, site design, and infrastructure improvements while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of licensed professional engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering plans and reports
  • Perform site grading, stormwater management, and utility layout design
  • Conduct calculations for drainage, erosion control, and roadway design
  • Prepare permit applications and coordinate with regulatory agencies
  • Support project managers with drafting, cost estimates, and project documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project delivery


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT certification required
  • 1–2 years of relevant civil engineering experience (internship experience considered)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCad and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • An understanding of Pennsylvania PaDEP and PennDOT permitting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

2026 Summer Internship in Monroeville

Point Design Group is seeking a 2026 Summer Intern currently enrolled in college with an emphasis on civil engineering curriculum. The preferred candidate would be going into their Junior or Senior year. Our internship program will place you in the surveying department for the first half of the summer and the engineering department for the second half. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the industry. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting survey crews in the field performing a variety of tasks such as construction stakeout and property boundary surveys.
  • Assisting survey department with work related to property deed plotting using AutoCAD and Carlson Software
  • Assisting engineering department with proposed sketch plans and grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assisting engineering department with various tasks related to private and public sector jobs.
