Delmont Public Library Improvements

Point Design Group provided surveying, site design, and landscape architecture services for improvements to the Delmont Public Library, enhancing both the functionality and visual character of this important community asset. Serving as a hub for education and local engagement, the library’s site was thoughtfully improved to create a more welcoming, accessible, and cohesive environment for visitors.

The project began with detailed surveying services to establish accurate existing conditions and inform the design process. Building on this foundation, Point Design Group developed site improvements that addressed circulation, accessibility, and overall site efficiency, including enhancements to pedestrian pathways, parking areas, and grading.

Complementing the site work, the landscape architecture design focused on creating an inviting outdoor setting that supports the library’s daily use and community programming. Improvements included updated planting design, defined gathering spaces, and enhanced pedestrian connections, all carefully integrated with the surrounding site elements. Emphasis was placed on durability, low-maintenance materials, and seasonal interest to ensure long-term performance and visual appeal.

Through an integrated approach to surveying, site design, and landscape architecture, Point Design Group delivered a cohesive solution that elevates both the form and function of the Delmont Public Library—strengthening its role as a valued community destination.
