In March, H&A was contacted by the Patriot Project founder and local chiropractor, Dr. Timothy Novelli to provide civil engineering for the Hershel “Woody” Williams Medal of Honor Gold Star Families Memorial Monument. The monument is accessible from Glenwood Avenue on the south end of Price Park in North Canton. Only one Gold Star Families Monument in each state is to be constructed. H&A Engineer Jennifer Schumacher worked with the City of North Canton, Hershel Williams Foundation, Architect, John Clement Dodovich, AIA, and Accent Concrete Incorporated on this monument that honors families who have lost a family member while serving in the Armed Forces. All parties involved volunteered their time and expertise as a gesture of gratitude for the Gold Star Families.
