Point Design Group was hired by the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh for the Glen Hazel Community new outdoor basketball facility.
Point Design Group provided comprehensive surveying and mapping services to support the redevelopment of a main library branch in Stark County. This project plays a key role in reimagining a major community asset, requiring accurate existing conditions data to guide the planning and design of a new facility.
The scope of work included detailed topographic surveying to capture existing site features, elevations, and infrastructure critical to the development process. This information served as the foundation for site planning, building layout, and engineering design, ensuring informed decision-making from early concept through final design.
Survey data was developed with a high level of precision to support coordination among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and planners. Careful attention was given to existing utilities, site constraints, and grading conditions to help facilitate a seamless transition from existing site conditions to proposed improvements.
Through accurate data collection and reliable mapping deliverables, Point Design Group helped position the project for successful redevelopment—supporting the creation of a modern, accessible library facility that will serve the community for years to come.
